About Bendweb Technology

Bendweb Technology was created in 2003 by me - Ben Morison. All these people kept saying "you have such an interest in computers - why don't you do something about it?!". Like anything though, it took time for the seed of thought to grow until I eventually registered a business name and started things up properly.

The business is based in Launceston and currently I'm a one man band, juggling the business as well as my day job as a mobile phone consultant, and running a household with my long suffering partner Clare.

Rather than hide the fact that the business is a one man operation, I'd rather be completely honest about it and give a number of good reasons why it's actually a good thing! In my experience I've found that people prefer the continuity of dealing with the one person consistently, so they get someone who can offer the same level of service and who knows their past history well. It does mean there are some tradeoffs (I only have one pair of hands) but I honestly think it's possible to do, and do it properly. This is not just hot air - I've got a background in business management, after previously working as a store manager with Fantastic Furniture for over 5 years and managing 3 highly successful businesses for them. In my current day job I'm a business mobile phone consultant for a successful local business. If you have found this website, chances are you're one of my customers or you know one of my customers - so you know the level of service I can offer, and that I've got a great deal of skill in finding solutions for customers, particularly businesses.
